As we are all aware, there has been significant advice and debate regarding the implications of the coronavirus. Please be reassured that the welfare of all patients, parents, colleagues and suppliers is of paramount importance and we have been constantly monitoring the developing situation and specific health board advice.
Summary of the latest advice is that:
a. we are still be open for our patients and referring dentists
b. we continue with our current protocols and best practice
Your responsibilities to us:
a. please do not attend our clinics if you are meant to be self–isolating or showing symptoms of COVID – 19
b. please minimise time spent in our facilities: arrive on time and leave promptly when and where possible
c. please do not attend with multiple children / family members
d. please do not attend if you are considered higher risk (e.g. over 70, pregnant or significant medical history)

As healthcare professionals, we only take advice from the experts and professional bodies. We will comply with their advice and respond as necessary to maximise care and provision for our patients and referring dentists. The staff at Kennedy Orthodontics will remain calm, professional, sensible, rational and show due consideration for patients, colleagues and all associated individuals.
In closing, and despite the unfamiliar situation for all of us I would like to express my thanks to all our patients, referring dentists and especially my colleagues for their continued support and kindness. Many of whom have offered support, strength, calmness, leadership and a selfless attitude over recent days.
