Coronavirus Update – 23rd March
Kennedy Orthodontics in line with all routine orthodontic clinics has been advised to close temporarily due to the COVID–19 pandemic. We will continue to operate a telephone and e–mail response. Our professional service, ethics and duty of care must continue as much as is practicable even in uncertain times. We assure you that as healthcare professionals, we only take advice from the experts and professional bodies.
It is right and proper that orthodontics is considered a non–essential at this time. We are already implementing contingency plans, to minimise the impact for all concerned and will attempt to catch up in a sensible time frame, once the pandemic ends.
We are aware that for many of our patients, this will result in their treatment taking longer than planned, retainers not being replaced when necessary and potentially other complications. While this is disappointing for all of us, the welfare of all patients, parents, colleagues and suppliers remains of paramount importance to us.
The staff at Kennedy Orthodontics will remain calm, professional, sensible, rational and show due consideration for patients, colleagues and all associated individuals.
There is no need to phone to rearrange an appointment at this stage. This will be dealt with appropriately following the pandemic. If you are having any problems related to your treatment then please phone our clinics as normal for instruction.
I would like to express my thanks to all our patients, referring dentists and especially my colleagues for their continued support and kindness.
